Arkansas’s cumulative total of COVID-19 confirmed cases is 20,257. So far 265 Arkansans have died from COVID-19, including 48 people in Benton and Washington counties. The Arkansas Department of Health reports there are more than 5,900 active cases in the state. Governor Asa Hutchinson says he's paused any further reopenings until data indicates the virus spread is more controlled. On Sunday morning, Hutchinson made an appearance on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopolus" saying would like to see President Trump invoke the Defense Protection Act to allow for the manufacture of supplies needed to increase testing.
