Spring Honors College Seminar Explores Black Utopias

Caree Banton is the director of the University of Arkansas African and African American Studies program.

A preview lecture for the University of Honors College Signature Seminar "Black Utopias" is tomorrow at 5:15 p.m. Caree Banton, the director of the University of Arkansas African and African American Studies program, will deliver the talk tomorrow night. and lead the seminar in the spring. The concept of Black utopias has existed for centuries around the world. She'll examine literature, music and other sources. The lecture is free, but does require registration.
