The online University of Phoenix has nearly 79,000 students enrolled, with some 1,200 of those based in Arkansas.

The University of Arkansas System is in talks with the University of Phoenix on a possible affiliation deal, as an Arkansas nonprofit is set to buy the for-profit university. KUAF's Daniel Caruth hears from UA System officials and critics about what an affiliation could mean.
