Fayetteville Public Library's 'Maker to Market' fosters micro-entrepreneurship

The Arkansas State Library Board oversees the Fayetteville Public Library.

This winter, the Fayetteville Public Library’s Center for Innovation will host the second Maker to Market entrepreneurship program. Accepted applicants can learn how to use equipment and receive personalized instruction on various startup needs. Ozarks at Large's Kyle Kellams spoke with Center for Innovation manager Melissa Taylor about what has changed since the event's last iteration.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, about one in five children face food insecurity. Raising money to combat hunger, as well as raising awareness, is the mission of No Kid Hungry. The Hive in Bentonville and No Kid Hungry are partnering again for a fundraising evening later this month.
