Most postpartum mothers in northwest Arkansas who have experienced an acute behavioral health event have not received follow-up care. That’s according to a new data analysis from the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement. Dr. Joe Thompson is the CEO of ACHI, he says this statistic is just another element of their work examining maternal health across the state.
