Bonnie Pollock, a 6th grade literacy teacher at Old High Middle School, was awarded the prestigious Milken Educator Award for excellence in teaching from the Milken Family Foundation.
The $25,000 gift was presented to Pollock in front of a crowd of students and fellow teachers this past week.
