"Teresa Pelliccio underwent a significant mind-shift in 2004 after reading The Power of Now and began a meditation practice. Shortly thereafter, she began experiencing conscious, otherworldly “trips” during her sleep. To understand and process these experiences, she turned to art. Her art forms are born from personal associations and blend spirituality, the metaphysical, intuition, self-empowerment and rebellion with femininity, whimsy and impulse. It is her wish that her work might inspire you to consider what may lie beyond the physical and encourage you to explore it. And, to love and support yourself fully as you do. Hilka Irvin is a Minnesota native who made Eureka Springs her home in 2014. A self-taught artist, she works in various mediums—oils, acrylics, and watercolor—each reflective of her mindset. In addition to visual art, she writes poetry and short stories to fulfill her creative soul. Her work is often described as eclectic, as she creates instinctively rather than adhering to expectations. Hilka thrives on stepping outside her comfort zone and expresses herself through art and writing that continues to evolve.RIGDON IRVIN has always thought of art as a history of humankind. His art is very much influenced by the fact that he is a child of the 70’s. He was introduced to all kinds of music, art and various aspects of the counter culture at an early age, by older siblings, who were coming of age during that time. He loves color and watching it explode on the canvas, incorporating the architectural lines of the mid century, as well as the atomic themes of the space age. Being an abstract artist allows him the freedom to create art from “an anything goes” mindset. "

"Gullywasher started in Kansas City in 2017 by guitarist singer songwriter Chris Hudson, banjo player vocalist Sam Wright & Bassist Matt Cathlina. A “Gullywasher” is a big washing rain which sort of describes this indie folk Americana string band’s trio sound. Lots of musical exploratory space & something completely different with a very familiar but understated style that crosses many genres boundaries. "

For its third year, Momentous Music and Arts Festival expands to two days of nonstop activation - building upon a foundation set in community, connection, and genre-bending exploration. Known for blending international headlining artists with local community powerhouses, Momentous continually raises the bar for what electronic music festivals in Arkansas can truly achieve.
Past acts include Grammy-winning artist Mura Masa, Grammy-nominated artist ARCA, and electronic powerhouses Ben UFO, Canabliss, and Sofia Kourtesis. This year is no exception. Momentous is raising the bar again this October, bringing Grammy-nominated electronic producer Tycho to Bentonville and debuting exclusive back-to-back sets from EDM stalwarts Flux Pavilion and Doctor P. Add the genre-bending sounds of legendary producer The Polish Ambassador, underground melodic crossovers from rising star Shima, interactive art installations, and the most extensive community stage to date, it becomes no surprise that this year’s festival is set to be its most momentous yet.
Momentous isn’t just music. It’s an immersive experience. Stretching across the entirety of the Momentary campus, the festival is a testing ground for world-class interactive art installations. Watch as Amsterdam-based Touki Delphine debuts a symphony of light inspired by Igor Stravinsky’s 1919 Firebird Suite. World-renowned cellist Katinka Kleijn returns to Momentous to debut her Bionic Synth Map, an interactive activity that transforms festivalgoers into cyborg musicians. A fully functional Night Market featuring all-local vendors and an arcade seeks to overwhelm senses. To decompress, discover the secrets within The Momentary’s gallery walls.
Commanding the community stage this year, Momentous welcomes a full stack of sets curated by local EDM collectives Backroom, Haus of Untz, Impact DNB, and Vibes Creation Co.
