Join us for a whimsical, family-friendly fairy house making class where guests will sculpt their very own magical fairy dwellings out of clay.
As we create, we’ll enjoy a tea party fit for the fae, making this class just as much about play and connection as it is about art. Costumes are encouraged—come dressed as a fairy, wizard, or anything magical! Be aware that we will be working with clay, which usually washes out (just don't ruin your most expensive costumes!)
All materials are included, from clay and tools to stroke and coat glaze for decorating your fairy house. Participants will start with clay slabs to create their base and walls. Then everyone can cut windows, doors, and decorate as they see fit. At the end you can paint your stucture.
No clay experience needed—just bring your imagination and a sense of wonder. Ticket options include children "add-ons" so that little ones can help adults if making their own fairy house feels overwhelming. Perfect for magical beings of all ages!

"Finding Our Way | February 5 - April 26, 2026The moment of arrival—what we carry when we seek sanctuary, transitions, and the crossing into safety. Sandra Spotts, artist. Jay Lane, artist. Familiar images made from various materials and objects, found and recycled, placed in a format of controlled chaos, is at this point in my journey, the medium of choice for the“Finding Our Way” exhibit at Gotahold Brewing. I see society as satirical subject matter that exists in a surrealistic landscape of twisted perspective that is filled to the fences with social ironies. And yet, I still have to maintain my sense of humor about what has been and what will be with the activities du jour based on fear, war, greed, and hate. With this sense also comes my interpretations, expressed visually based on myexperiences, feelings, and health, from finding my way as an artist. I hope these pieces give you a sense of curiosity that you continue to carry with you while you are finding your way through all of this we humans call life."

"Into the Gray Trio is an offshoot of the amazing full band. A Kansas City staple of original music and carefully crafted covers, the trio offers the Into the Gray experience in a more intimate way. With Alabama's melodic bassman Jeff Turk, Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's guitarist Skinny Webb, and powerhouse vocalist Jessica Gray, Into the Gray Trio has been captivating audiences since the band's formation in 2019. Their two albums, Revelation and Little Bird, blend Latin, blues, Reggae, and rock music into their own unique, genre-defying sound. Into the Gray's audiences have described their performances and music as creative, visionary, passionate, and one of the best bands in KC. Their songs are both original and familiar, soulful and rockin', and bursting with unique musicality and incomparable vocals. The Into the Gray Trio band is a more intimate and mellow version of a musical experience that you don't want to miss.
