A Celebration of Choctaw Art and Culture is a partnership between ACHE and Choctaw Nation Public Arts. The reception opening will be held Thursday, April 9th, 5-7pm, with the exhibition on display through May 22nd. Celebrate the voices, stories and artistry of Choctaw nation of Oklahoma in a vibrant exhibition featuring both traditional and contemporary works. This showcase honors Choctaw culture through pieces that reflect ancestral knowledge, lived experiences and modern expression. Experience powerful artwork, support Native American artists, and connect with the rich and enduring artistic legacy of the Choctaw Nation. Free. Open to the public. RD holds secular, science-based addiction recovery support groups every Monday. We are LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent led/friendly. Harm reduction approaches welcomed. Sober curious folks are welcomed. Anyone questioning their relationship to substances is welcomed. No student observers, please.

About Swan Lake in Northwest Arkansas
Ozark Ballet Theater presents Swan Lake in Springdale, Arkansas — a full-length classical ballet performed by professional artists and dedicated local students. This production brings one of the most iconic works of the ballet repertoire to Northwest Arkansas audiences in an accessible, family-friendly format.

Set to Tchaikovsky’s sweeping score, Swan Lake tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, a princess transformed into a swan by an evil sorcerer. From moonlit lakeside scenes to grand palace dances, the ballet blends athletic virtuosity with emotional storytelling.

The Tibetan Cultural Institute of Arkansas (TCIA) will host six monks from India’s Drepung Loseling Monastery for a residency of their Mystical Arts of Tibet tour, from late April through May 2026.

Led by University of Arkansas teaching assistant professor and TCIA spiritual leader Geshe Thupten Dorjee, the Buddhist monks will construct sacred Sand Mandalas for Love and Compassion in Fayetteville and Eureka Springs. These intricate "visual prayers" are handcrafted using millions of grains of colored sand to promote global harmony.

The public is invited to observe the meditative process. There is no fee, but donations are accepted.

Each residency concludes with a Dissolution Ceremony, where the mandala is swept away to symbolize the impermanence of life and later to disperse blessings into a nearby stream.

The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of JR’s most extensive immersive and experiential works to date. After taking portraits in one of three individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press – turning their image into a tangible work of art while offering a glimpse into the creative process of JR. After the experience, visitors leave with their own, one-of-a-kind print.
