A Celebration of Choctaw Art and Culture is a partnership between ACHE and Choctaw Nation Public Arts. The reception opening will be held Thursday, April 9th, 5-7pm, with the exhibition on display through May 22nd. Celebrate the voices, stories and artistry of Choctaw nation of Oklahoma in a vibrant exhibition featuring both traditional and contemporary works. This showcase honors Choctaw culture through pieces that reflect ancestral knowledge, lived experiences and modern expression. Experience powerful artwork, support Native American artists, and connect with the rich and enduring artistic legacy of the Choctaw Nation. Free. Open to the public. ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Cooper Clark and Jacob Evans are a duo act out of Fayetteville, AR. Together, these two weirdos make up the band we hope you come to know as Lone Social. Their signature sound comes from years of obsessing over John Mayer’s melody driven leads, their southeastern roots, and love for making people dance. Their heart is to bring tunes that are honest to the other weirdos and romantics of the world. As longtime best-friends, multi-dimensional creators, and aspiring improvisation comedians, Evans and Clark’s relationship is nothing short of unique. While Cooper Clark isn’t playing electric guitar, he is producing immersive experiences across NWA and beyond. Jacob Evans, a husband and father of two, is pioneering a new way to do real estate transactions as CEO of a rising tech platform. Together they create music as a way to release the pressure valve of life and engage in their community. The two artists combine their powers to form a fresh pop-rock sound, called Lone Social. Their debut single Slow It Down was released on October 29, 2021. The song documents a road trip Evans took across the country in a half-filled U-Haul, where his newly-proposed-to fiancée met his family for the first time. When the duo sat down to write this song, they knew they wanted to remind themselves of that early feeling in any relationship. Slow It Down, when you have more to say, take the long way home. The Goddess Gala is a fundraiser for the Merlin Foundations Grandma’s Houses which work & provide help for child victims of abuse in 8 counties. The Gala has a silent auction, potluck feast, drumming, blessings, dancing & a belly dancing performance. BYOB.This is a woman’s only private party. All proceeds go to the children at the Merlin Foundation.

Starting the 2026 Van Cliburn Concert Series is a rare performance: two award-winning pianists in one unforgettable night. Creativille is a mixed media art retreat held at Community Creative Center every April. This year we have 6 instructors who will each lead a half day workshop appropriate for all skill levels. Projects include cyanotype, sculpting with polymer clay, making paper flowers and more!

Discover the inspiring life of
George Washington Carver at the National Museum in Diamond, Missouri, where he was born into slavery. He later became a renowned educator and agricultural scientist at the Tuskegee
Institute, and became one of America’s most influential figures. The day includes the museum,
an orientation film, and a hands-on activity in
the peanut lab where Carver’s agricultural innovations come to life.
The next stop is at the “World’s Largest Small
Electric Appliance Museum,” which is also located in Diamond. It is a multi-room collection of over 7,000 vintage machines ranging
from toasters to coffee pots, hot dog roasters,
waffle irons, and hair dryers, just to name a few.
It was the result of one man’s fascination with
the historic revolution of electrified kitchen and
household goods that we now think of as commonplace. Attendees may have the privilege of
a guided tour by the owner, who alone knows
the history and stories that go along with the
incredible collection.
Lunch at the museum is included. Please note:
individuals with peanut allergies should exercise caution during the lab activity at the Carver

The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of JR’s most extensive immersive and experiential works to date. After taking portraits in one of three individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press – turning their image into a tangible work of art while offering a glimpse into the creative process of JR. After the experience, visitors leave with their own, one-of-a-kind print.
