A Celebration of Choctaw Art and Culture is a partnership between ACHE and Choctaw Nation Public Arts. The reception opening will be held Thursday, April 9th, 5-7pm, with the exhibition on display through May 22nd. Celebrate the voices, stories and artistry of Choctaw nation of Oklahoma in a vibrant exhibition featuring both traditional and contemporary works. This showcase honors Choctaw culture through pieces that reflect ancestral knowledge, lived experiences and modern expression. Experience powerful artwork, support Native American artists, and connect with the rich and enduring artistic legacy of the Choctaw Nation. Free. Open to the public. Back for year two, we’re teaming up with The Vibe Dance Co. once again to bring Northwest Arkansas the ultimate hip-hop–inspired block party!
The night features high-energy, curated dance performances, an open dance floor, special musical guests, and interactive showcases that keep the night going. This block party celebrates hip-hop’s past, present, and future—live, loud, and in motion.

Join us for the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks’ annual Plant Sale, a spring favorite for gardeners of all levels! Browse a wide selection of plants and garden-related merchandise from 30+ local vendors and enjoy time exploring the Garden.
This year’s sale features members-only early access on Friday evening from 5pm – 8pm, followed by free admission to the Garden during the public sale on Saturday from 9am – 2pm—a perfect opportunity to shop, stroll, and get inspired for the growing season.
While the Plant Sale is free to attend, registration is required.

The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of JR’s most extensive immersive and experiential works to date. After taking portraits in one of three individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press – turning their image into a tangible work of art while offering a glimpse into the creative process of JR. After the experience, visitors leave with their own, one-of-a-kind print.

George Washington Carver had a passion for art. Art in the Park features plein air artists, kid-friendly activities, and instructional workshops with pastels, natural dyes, pencil, and more. Children can earn a special Art in the Park Junior Ranger badge. The event will welcome Shay Holloway, also known as “Art Girl Shay,” as the featured artist and guest speaker. Shay will deliver a presentation at 11:00 am, sharing her artistic journey and insights with participants. The event is free of charge.

Spend a day on the Mountain shaping, layering, and creating your own papier-mâché mask with artist Shelley Mouber.
You’ll work with your hands, explore texture and form, and watch something personal take shape—piece by piece. No experience needed. Just come as you are and follow where it leads.
By the end, you won’t just leave with a finished mask—you’ll carry the experience of making it.

George Dombek is holding his annual spring Open Studio from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the weekends of April 25–26, May 2–3, and May 9–10, 2026, at 844 Blue Springs Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Dombek’s work is in museums and private collections around the world, as well as in Arkansas collections such as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, and the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas. He has also created striking art glass installations, most notably the windows at The Preacher’s Son restaurant in Bentonville.
"Jack Summers is an award-winning songwriter from Weston, Missouri. He found his musical roots in trips to the Walnut Valley Music Festival and Bob Dylan lyrics repurposed as bedtime stories. Jack embraces these influences and is motivated by the challenge of making them resonate with a modern audience.
In 2021, Jack released his debut album, 'No Longer and Not Yet'
In 2023, Jack won the Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Contest. Since then, he's played everywhere from a honkey tonk in Austin, to the backwoods of Awendaw, SC, to Iowa's oldest barn.
In 2026, Jack will release his second album, Konza Prairie Hymnal.
When he's not playing music, Jack works as a Teacher's Assistant in an Elementary Special Education Classroom. He also is an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals. "
