Come to the Best Friends Pet Resource Center to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Community Cat Support Network (CCSN) with a Public Education and Volunteer Day! This event spotlights CCSN's important work in NWA, providing a unique opportunity for you to learn about Trap Neuter Return (TNR), an essential strategy for managing community cat populations.
What to Expect:
Public Education on TNR: Learn what TNR is and why it's crucial for community cats. We'll walk through the process with a live demonstration (using a stuffed animal!), showing when and where to set traps and how the program works.
Get Involved: Discover how you can become part of the solution—whether it’s through fostering, adopting, trapping, or volunteering with CCSN in your neighborhood. We’ll share stories of success and the incredible impact TNR has made in our community.
Volunteer Opportunity: Help make a direct impact by building TNR supply bags, which are essential for CCSN’s ongoing work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, volunteer, and become an active part of the community cat solution. Whether you're just curious or ready to take action, we welcome everyone to participate! Light snacks and treats will be provided!
