Born in 1980, Dobrinka Tabakova is an electrifying contemporary female composer. In the liner notes of the first album devoted entirely to her music, “String Paths,” her aesthetic is described as “reflect[ing] different paths to a convergent artistic end, like a garden maze where multiple trails finally come together.” Tabakova herself also meditates on her compositions, including “Suite in Old Style,” which will be featured on Monday’s show: “The conversation I wanted to have was with Rameau.
