The UA music department's Arkansas New Music Ensemble will 'test drive' the new Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center when they perform their first concert in the state of the art hall this Friday night. "One of the pieces is called ‘Test Drive,’ and I've used that as a metaphor for the entire concert,” explains Jamal Duncan, UA music professor and ensemble conductor, when he stops in with members of the group and a sound engineer for the hall, to discuss the concert with Of Note's Katy Henriksen.
