Of Note for Tue., Oct. 11, 2016: Joshua Bell's Brahms

Violinist Joshua Bell goes deep with Brahms on his newest recording. Titled For the Love of Brahms, the release features Brahms' brooding double concerto in A minor for violin, cello and orchestra as well as an early work, his playful piano trio in B major.

Find out from Bell what it's like to perform as both soloist and conductor in my interview with him, as well as his rendering of the double concerto, as the highlight in today's program streaming for a limited time in its entirety right here.
