Restaurants Face Labor Shortage As Pandemic Restrictions Lift

Leverett Lounge in Fayetteville is one of many area restaurants struggling to meet staffing demands as more people look to dine-out.

Despite loosening COVID-19 restrictions, many area restaurants and bars are struggling to hire and retain employees. The Fayetteville Independent Restaurant Alliance is trying to eliminate challenges that have plagued the industry for years and offering resources for food-service workers in the region.
