The Marshallese Educational Initiative, a non-profit advocacy group based in Springdale, hosted a two-day event last week to discuss the consequential and persistent impact of 67 U.S. Cold War nuclear weapons tests on the Marshall Islands, as well as shared environmental justice issues with other indigenous nations, and looming climate-change threats.
