Arkansas Ranks 43rd in the Nation for Child Wellbeing

The latest data from the Annie E. Casey Foundation's KIDS COUNT data book has been released, and Arkansas is worse than the national average in 11 of their 16 indicators. Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families has offered several policy recommendations, including improving teacher pay, making it easier for Arkansans—including teenagers—to access long-acting contraception, and more.
