Arkansas CAPES, an advocacy group hoping to overturn the Arkansas LEARNS Act, has until July 31 to collect and file nearly 55,000 signatures to petition a ballot referendum in 2024.

Eureka Springs City Cemetery Commission investigating Confederate monument installation

A tall white limestone obelisk that honors Confederate veterans buried in Eureka Springs Cemetery was recently installed by a local neo-Confederate advocate without official notice or approval by the city cemetery commission.
