NWA experiences a more than 5% increase in sales tax revenue

Talk Business and Politics reports the four largest cities in northwest Arkansas combined for a more than 5% increase in sales tax revenue in December reports. Those reports reflect business conducted in November. Rogers sales tax increased for that month by more than 10% when compared to the same time a year ago. Fayetteville’s sales tax increase year-over-year was more than 6%, Springdale’s more than 3% and Bentonville’s nearly 2%.
