Crypto-mining bill fails to pass committee

This week, lawmakers discussed a bill to ban cryptocurrency mines within 30 miles of five military facilities. Republican Senator Ricky Hill of Cabot sponsored Senate Bill 60. Hill told the Senate Committee on County and Local Affairs that he wanted to protect the military, but the bill failed to pass the committee on a roll call vote.
