Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is requesting additional federal disaster funding from the White House. She is seeking Direct Federal Assistance in response to storms that have struck the state this week.
In her request, Sanders wrote that there are already major impacts along a dozen rivers in Arkansas, including the Buffalo, White and Mississippi rivers, with more rainfall expected.
