The fifth annual Kessler Trail Run is set for this Saturday at 9 am. The run is sponsored by the Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association and helps raise money for the Kessler Mountain Reserve- a 386-acre public nature site- which the City of Fayetteville purchased in 2014.
Sim Barrow and Dana Smith from the Kessler Trail Run planning committee talk to Pete Hartman about changes to this year's course and what runners can expect.
Registration for both the 10K and 20K is $50. This year's run will feature an after-party at the Ozark Mountain Smokehouse, which non-runners can sign-up for as well.
