Today Pete talks with Jane Maginot, a County Extension Agent from the University of Arkansas, about Northwest Arkansas' waterways and an upcoming litter clean-up event.
The clean-up will take place this Saturday, October 26th, in Prairie Grove, Elm Springs, Farmington, and Springdale and will target creeks that are not regularly targetted for clean-up. The clean-up will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM, and volunteers should wear water-appropriate clothes and shoes. Clean-up supplies, such as gloves and trash bags, will be provided.
