Community Spotlight: Latinx Research Opportunity

Today Pete talks with Dulce Diaz Benitez, a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Arkansas Department of Psychological Sciences, about an upcoming research project regarding the relationship between skin color and experiences of discrimination.  The study is examining identity, quality of life, health, and ethnic pride as a protective factor against discrimination for the Latinex community in Northwest Arkansas.

The survey process can be completed in about ten minutes and costs only five dollars to participate.

If you would like to participate in this study, contact Benitez at dediazbe@uark.edu or or call the psychological sciences department's lab 479-575-7605.
