Sarah Mesko recieved her Bachelors in Music, and graduated summa cum laude, from The University of Arkansas in 2008 . The highlight of today's program is a very special broadcast of an Honors College House Concert Mesko performed earlier this month in Gearhart Hall on the UA campus.
The concert includes an eclectic mix of pieces, from Debussy and Ravel to Richard Hundley and David Ashley White, chosen to evoke the change of seasons in her home state of Arkansas. "In Houston, where I live now, we don't have any seasons!" she said, "Growing up in Arkansas that's one of the things I miss most."
