Of Note On Demand: 21st Century's New Golden Age for Choral Music

Harmonia Mundi

In this week's Of Note on demand installment, we sample the ORA Singers' new album Many Are The Wonders, which features contemporary compositions inspired by the music of 16th century composer Thomas Tallis alongside deftly interpreted Tallis originals.

According to director Suzi Digby, the album is designed to reflect the belief that we are now experiencing a "new golden age for choral music." One minute with the new release and you would understand why.

Reimagining Renaissance gems alongside Tallis originals, the ORA Singers form a bridge from the old to the new. Hear highlights from Many Are the Wonders and much more in 10 hours of handpicked compelling classical now streaming online for a limited time.
