Several area organizations are taking part in Giving Tuesday. The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks issues a code yellow alert for some blood types. And an effort to increase awareness about literacy will take place this week at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville Public Library and other venues throughout Fayetteville.
