Missouri Mining Company Aims to Quarry Carroll County Limestone

A bird's eye view of Ozark Southern Stone Company, a historic working quarry recently purchased by minerals prospector, Matt Mills, operator of Legacy Land Holdings, based in Dexter, Missoui.

A Missouri-based company has purchased more than 800 acres in Carroll County to quarry limestone. Some residents are organizing to block the effort.
