Fayetteville Residents Quarantined Once Before 100 Years Ago

2020 is not the first time in history that Fayetteville residents were told to not gather in groups and stay away from each other. In 1918, and again in 1920, the city was placed under quarantine for several weeks because of the waves of Spanish influenza that swept the globe.
