Watershed Partnerships to Host Weekend River Cleanups

This week, the Community Spotlight hosted guests from the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, Kings River Watershed Partnership, Boston Mountain Solid Waste and Ozark Natural Foods Co-Op.

Egg Hunts, Block Party and More from the Community Spotlight

On the Community Spotlight this week, the Big Paws of the Ozarks Block Party is tonight at Boston Mountain Brewing. The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History hosted its first Ozark Trivia Night at the museum this week, and it will have a new exhibit, "Ozark Homes," in May. Plus, events from the Global Save Soil Movement and NWA Special Kids is preparing for the organization's Special Egg Hunt.

Community Spotlight Guests include Hogeye Marathon, NWA Land Trust Officials

An event focusing on the cultural and natural history of land preserved through the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust was this past week. Also, the Hogeye Marathon, Arkansas' oldest marathon, is set for April 15-16, and the Downtown Springdale Alliance announces its LIVE! at Turnbow Concert Series.

On the Community Spotlight this week, the Abilities Ball is a fundraiser to support Life Styles, Inc. and it's tomorrow. Also, Boots Riley will be a guest speaker at the Fayetteville Public Library on Monday. Riley is a rapper, activist, screenwriter, producer and director.
