A night outdoors with The Fort Smith Symphony

The Fort Smith Symphony, led by musical director John Jeter, has partnered with ArcBest to perform an outdoor concert at their headquarters off McClure Drive tomorrow. Jeter visited the Anthony and Susan Hui News Studio to talk about brand-new music the symphony will perform.

Doug Shaddell is an associate professor of musicology at Vanderbilt University, a researcher of Price’s life and music, and an organizer of this month’s commemoration. He said part of the celebration is an expansion of how we view the Little Rock-born composer.
