The Common Ground Collective previews upcoming exhibit, 'Neighbours'

The Common Ground Collective is a group of University of Arkansas students who have curated an upcoming art exhibition this month titled “Neighbours”. The exhibit, opening on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Studio and Design Center in Fayetteville, features a diverse collection of media that highlights the regional ties connecting each artist’s practice to place, material and community. Ozark at Large’s Sophia Nourani sits down with one of the curators of the exhibit, Emma Seubold, to learn about how the collective and “Neighbours” began; which was partially through the end of INTERFORM and Assembly back in March.

The opening reception of “Neighboursis taking place this Friday, June 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with more events taking place throughout the month. The exhibition will be open through mid-July in the Studio Art and Design Center in Fayetteville. You can visit their Instagram for more information.
