Coping With Mental Health During the Holidays
One third of people report a spike in mental health problems around the holidays, says Sacha McBain with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. McBain, a clinical psychologist, explains what triggers people should be on the look out for, resources and ways to cope with mental illness and stress during this season.
AR Connect offers a 24-hour hotline to help people access therapy services via telephone or virtual consultations.
Correction: An earllier version of this story mistakenly said The Washington County Crisis Stablization Unit is open. The Unit, which is being re-opened by UAMS, is not yet operational.
