Private Interest Spurs Trail Development at Great Passion Play

The 65-foot tall Christ of the Ozarks at the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs.

This week, we’ve been talking about the trail boom that’s spreading beyond northwest Arkansas; it recently arrived in Eureka Springs. On Monday, we heard about the developments at Lake Leatherwood, and today we head to the Great Passion Play to find out more about the project there that’s bringing in a renowned trail builder from out west.

Artosphere, the festival that merges nature and art, is underway, centered at the Walton Arts Center. This year’s iteration of the festival includes many of the features from past Artsopheres: concerts in area chapels, the music along the Razorback Greenway that is Trail Mix and a performance by the Dover Quartet.
