An exhibit at the Rogers Experimental House will include the work of local and regional artists that considers the black experience in America. Inspired by the 1619 Project from Nikole Hannah-Jones with the New York Times, Reflections of the Black Experience opens Thursday, Feb. 13, as part of the monthly Art on the Bricks Art Walk. An artists' talk back event takes place Saturday, Feb. 29, at 11 a.m.

Kyle Kellams is KUAF's news director and host of Ozarks at Large.
