Bill to end Arkansas' mandatory water fluoridation program fails

A bill to end Arkansas’ mandatory water fluoridation program has failed in a legislative committee. Members of the Senate Public Health committee rejected Senate Bill 2 by Republican Sen. Clint Penzo in a meeting Wednesday. Penzo said he is seeking to give municipalities the choice of whether or not to add fluoride to the water supply.
