Big Gay Market has been a fixture of Northwest Arkansas's queer community since 2021, when co-founders Amanda Arafat and Grayce Wylder launched it as both a celebration and a protest. Now the organization is back for its first June Pride market in two years. This time they'll be in Springdale, with a Bimbo Ball at Backroom Social Club. Ozarks at Large's Sophia Nourani sat down with Arafat and co-organizer Emily Walker ahead of the event.
