Every time it rains, litter that is left on the ground washes to creeks and streams. You can help. Pick Up Where You Play is a series of litter cleanups happening throughout Northwest Arkansas during the fall months. Last year over 500 volunteers removed trash from parks, trails, creeks, rivers, and lakes. Volunteers are entered to win adventures in the 3 major watersheds of NWA. Protect your pet! Bring your pet to our walk-in vaccine and microchip clinic each Wednesday, from 9am to 12:30pm. Please bring all dogs on leashes and all cats in carriers. All vaccines and microchips are free. Appointments are appreciated but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. Registration is available at the link below:

The Purple Flower, Carroll County’s sole provider of comprehensive services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, invites you to support this urgent fundraising campaign aiming to raise $27,000 in 27 days during October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to bridge a devastating gap left by the loss of federal grant funding.
