Sound Perimeter: Too Saxy

Lia Uribe, associate professor in the University of Arkansas Music Department, explores the saxophone this week with music by Shelley Washington, Libby Larsen and Petronio Alvarex, and featuring saxophonists Eric Troiano and Antonio Arnedo.

Troiano, a member of the U of A music faculty, will host a Faculty Recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21 in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall on the U of A campus in Fayetteville. Featured works will include music by Libby Larsen, Robert Mueller, Corey Dundee, Max Morrow and Shelley Washington. Troiano will be accompanied by Er-Gene Kahng on violin and Tomoko Kashiwagi on piano. The public is invited to attend.
