This fall, roam a world outside time as acclaimed studio Klip Collective uses light, sound, and state-of-the-art projection mapping to transform acres of Ozark nature into a one-of-a-kind journey across time and space.

Designed exclusively for the museum’s North Forest, this outdoor, site-responsive experience features six immersive installations for you and your crew to explore. Witness the natural rhythms of the Earth brought to life, see yourself fractured across the surface of a broken time machine, marvel together at the movements of the forest in a landscape of light, and more.

Backed by a custom soundtrack and open during the Ozarks’ most beautiful season, Time Loop truly offers an outdoor experience unlike any in Northwest Arkansas.

Are you ready for a trip to Italy, or simply interested in learning about the country’s language and customs? Join Dr. Ryan CalabrettaSajder, Associate Professor of Italian at the University of Arkansas, for a 6-week journey filled with essential phrases and travel tips. This course will cover a variety of topics, including preparing for your trip, salutations, navigating the airport, ordering food and drinks, shopping, traveling within Italy, and ensuring your safety. Get ready to embark on this exciting adventure!

The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of JR’s most extensive immersive and experiential works to date. After taking portraits in one of three individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press – turning their image into a tangible work of art while offering a glimpse into the creative process of JR. After the experience, visitors leave with their own, one-of-a-kind print.

Member Perk: Momentary members receive two free prints per visit. Just reserve your timed ticket online or with the Box Office, and your discount will be applied at checkout!

Timed portrait tickets are $20 (Free for members), reserve your timeslot online or with the Box Office at (479) 657-2335.
Timed portrait tickets include one oversized photo portrait and admission for up to three people. Digital copies of your photo will be available after your visit.
If you do not plan on taking a portrait during your visit, no purchase is required to attend The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press.

In this two-hour program, participants will learn basic photographic principles that apply to any camera type. Rather than focusing on specific buttons or menus, the class emphasizes timeless techniques that greatly improve your photos and make photography more enjoyable. Discover how to use the rule of thirds, leading lines, the golden hours, and the three types of portraits to add that extra “WOW” to your images.

Doug Talbott, a semi-professional photographer with 60 years of experience using Nikon equipment, will guide participants through these concepts with practical examples. Whether you use a smartphone, tablet, DSLR, or mirrorless camera, these foundational skills will help you see and capture the world in new and exciting ways.

Retired educators and retired edu support staff gather to have lunch, engage with other retirees, share news, information, and updates on retirement benefits. WCRTA provides a $1500 scholarship to students pursuing a teaching career and also collects donations to local charities.

Protect your pet! Bring your pet to our walk-in vaccine and microchip clinic each Wednesday, from 9am to 12:30pm. Please bring all dogs on leashes and all cats in carriers. All vaccines and microchips are free. Appointments are appreciated but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. Registration is available at the link below:
