Springdale Public Library announces $1.1 million expansion

Since the 1940s, the Springdale Public Library has offered the town’s residents literary respite. However, Springdale has expanded quite a bit since the library’s founding, and officials have deemed it time for some development. Arkansas Legislature extends 'lookback window' for survivors of child sexual abuse

The statue legislature has announced an extension to a new state law which provides a legal mechanism for survivors of child sexual abuse to report their assault. The extended ‘lookback window’ allows victims of any age to speak about their experience, lengthening the existing opportunity to report.
