Music Moves is bringing Freedom Fest, a celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, back to Springdale for a fifth year on Saturday. Many elements remain unchanged: it's free, there is food and music, and the activities extend from mid-afternoon into the night. Something new: the festival is now centered around the refurbished Luther George Park in downtown Springdale.

Last week, Anthony Ball, the vice-president of Music Moves, returned to the Anthony and Susan Hui News Studio to talk about Freedom Fest, as well as the ongoing programs at Music Moves’ permanent home, the Music Depot in downtown Rogers.
