"Finding Our Way | February 5 - April 26, 2026The moment of arrival—what we carry when we seek sanctuary, transitions, and the crossing into safety. Sandra Spotts, artist. Jay Lane, artist. Familiar images made from various materials and objects, found and recycled, placed in a format of controlled chaos, is at this point in my journey, the medium of choice for the“Finding Our Way” exhibit at Gotahold Brewing. I see society as satirical subject matter that exists in a surrealistic landscape of twisted perspective that is filled to the fences with social ironies. And yet, I still have to maintain my sense of humor about what has been and what will be with the activities du jour based on fear, war, greed, and hate. With this sense also comes my interpretations, expressed visually based on myexperiences, feelings, and health, from finding my way as an artist. I hope these pieces give you a sense of curiosity that you continue to carry with you while you are finding your way through all of this we humans call life."

"Roll Cage Mary is a folk music artist from the hills of Arkansas. Their music celebrates, revels, and pays tribute to the folk, blues, and country music that came before it. From artists like John Prine, Mississippi John Hurt, and Johnny Cash. Roll Cage Mary’s influences are as vast and varied as the Arklahoma region they call home.
Born and raised on the border of Arkansas and Oklahoma, the influences and traditions of the area seep into every crevice of Roll Cage Mary’s music. From the beat of the drum, like the fall of a pick in a dim lit shaft, and to the paddle wheel pluck on their old guitar, the hills and rivers are alive in this music."
Wild with purpose, the women of Dandelion Heart endeavor to create a unique Americana sound, blending four individual songwriting styles. These dandies are rooted in Northwest Arkansas, with a passion for making music, and having fun creating with each other. The band is composed of Lacy Hampton (guitar, hand percussion), Chase Hart (guitar), Korey Mckelvy (mandolele, banjo), and Willa Thomason (cello, guitar). Early on, the four shared originals from previous projects (Aisle 24, The Ozark Travelers, The Silver Lining), but quickly began evolving their set to include more originals born from collaborations. This resulted in the release of their debut album, Retrospect, in November of 2020. This group of four vocalists and multi-instrumentalist creates a dynamic set that is fluidly shifting throughout. Dandelion Heart strives to capture the beauty in simplicity, with penetrating harmonies and at times, sparse instrumentation. Expect to hear a blend of folk, blues, bluegrass, rock, and indie sounds from this up and coming hometown band.
