This peaceful and nonviolent action is hosted by Indivisible NWA.
On July 4, 2025, the President signed into law the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, a law making significant changes to the US Healthcare system, affecting Medicaid, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage, and employer-sponsored benefits.
Key Aspects:
Major changes to Medicaid include new work requirements, tighter eligibility checks, and new copays
New verification rules for the ACA marketplace enrollees, removing repayment caps for subsidies
Updates to Medicare drug price negotiation rules
National Impacts:
More than 5 million people could lose health insurance
About 700K people could lose Medicaid coverage
About 4.2 million people could become uninsured as it becomes unaffordable
We will not stand by and allow this to continue. OUR HEALTH IS AT STAKE!
“To be silent is to be complicit.”
Come out and tell our elected officials that we will not blindly accept this action.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
