Four grand pianos, 20 pianists, and a 50 voice choir are joined to create an astounding celebration of the birth of Christ as Oak Cliff Baptist Church presents Keyboards at Christmas! Our presentations include traditional Christmas music presented in a variety of piano and choral arrangements.

Admission is free. Keyboards at Christmas is Oak Cliff’s gift to the community and the River Valley.

The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of JR’s most extensive immersive and experiential works to date. After taking portraits in one of three individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press – turning their image into a tangible work of art while offering a glimpse into the creative process of JR. After the experience, visitors leave with their own, one-of-a-kind print.

Member Perk: Momentary members receive two free prints per visit. Just reserve your timed ticket online or with the Box Office, and your discount will be applied at checkout!

Timed portrait tickets are $20 (Free for members), reserve your timeslot online or with the Box Office at (479) 657-2335.
Timed portrait tickets include one oversized photo portrait and admission for up to three people. Digital copies of your photo will be available after your visit.
If you do not plan on taking a portrait during your visit, no purchase is required to attend The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR — One South Main Studio is excited to announce its 2025 Holiday
Market, celebrating the season with the best of local art, craft, and community. The
market will take place every Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas from 11
a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1 S Main Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701.

The market will feature local artists and vendors, offering a variety of handmade gifts
and art, including but not limited to ceramics, stained glass, jewelry, textiles, paintings,
plants, and candles. There will also be an opportunity to paint your own pottery, a great
activity for the kiddos to do while the parents enjoy free coffee and shop around.

First brought to life in the book by L. Frank Baum in 1900, “The Wizard of Oz” has been a stage musical, a silent film, the classic movie, and the radio play presented just after Christmas in 1950 by Lux Radio Theater.
Seventy-five years later, for the holiday season of 2025, we bring you the Lux Radio Theater version, telling the tale with voices, music, sound effects, and your imaginations, as you become our “live studio audience” on this journey down the Yello Brick Road to the Emerald City with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and Toto the Brave Dog!

Headquarters House Museum sets holiday open house for Dec. 14

Headquarters House Museum will host a holiday open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, to give visitors a taste of 19th century Christmas season festivities in Northwest Arkansas. The museum at 118 E. Dickson St. in Fayetteville houses the offices of the Washington County Historical Society. The structure was built in 1853 by Judge Jonas and Matilda Tebbetts as their family’s residence.

Outside the house, visitors can have a tintype photo taken with Father Christmas on the porch of the adjacent Archibald Yell Law Office. Other outdoor activities will be caroling by singers in period dress on the museum’s front porch and 1800s social dancing on the lawn.

Inside the house hot wassail and holiday punch will be served with an assortment of cookies. A kids’ craft table will also be available.

Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the museum decked out for the holidays. Volunteers will be available to answer any questions. The bookstore will be open and will offer free gift wrapping.

The historical society is also collecting donations to help Washington County kids in need. Visitors are asked to bring gifts to the event. Donations can also be dropped off from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 to 12 at the museum.

We’ll have free vaccines and microchips (registration required—link coming soon), piñatas, family-friendly activities, free personalized pet tags, goodie bags, hot chocolate, and more.
This event is free! All supplies are provided, and families and participants of all ages are welcome. This is a drop-in event.
Bring the whole family—two- and four-legged—and enjoy a festive and fun community day!
