Join us as we go West and explore two interesting features of Fort Smith. The morning excursion will be a tour of the Samuel M. Sicard Hall of Honor in the Marshall Museum, newly opened in 2020. The Hall memorializes the 376 men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty. Plans for future museum expansion will be detailed. After a Dutch-Treat lunch at a locally celebrated restaurant, an afternoon feature will be scouting out the National Historic Museum. This pioneering West trip will bring participants up to date on westward happenings of our neighbor; so don your ten-gallon hat and join a funfilled day. This is a transportation ONLY class. No commuters. (With three stops on our tour, other arrangements would be difficult to coordinate.) Participants are to meet the van at Sam’s Club (close to car wash area) off Garland & I-49. Meeting time TBD. If enrollment warrants we will open up to 2 vans (20 participants).
