There is still information to plan as we are in the beginning stages, so your feedback is important. Please share this with anyone interested in being part of a community chorus. This will be a non-profit organization, but there will be a small fee to join. Rehearsals would be in the choir room at the Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) campus.

"Jacob Furr is an award-winning songwriter, multiinstrumentalist, collaborator, and genre fluid artist from FortWorth, Texas. His work blends West Coast folk with the dustyexpanses of West Texas, and explores themes and stories oflove, loss, grief, and recovery. He has toured the US since2014. Furr has opened for Peter Case, James McMurty, KellyWillis, Shovels and Rope, and Over The Rhine, among others.Though Furr’s most significant work is a three album cycle over10 years about the loss of his wife to brain cancer in 2013, Hissongwriting paints pictures of thunderstorms on the LlanoEstacado, cemeteries of lost life boat sailors in California, andthe intimate feelings and details of recovery and healing. All ofthese stories and themes are blended into songs that rangefrom towering electric anthems of lost stars, to intimate, solowork that recalls Bert Jansch and early Joh Ritter.Furr has long been a strong advocate of independent DIYmusic. He won the Bluelight Live Songwriting Competition in2015, Fort Worth Weekly Best Songwriter and Best Folk Artist2015/2023, and is a founding member of Hear Fort Worth, aswell as being major supporter of music programming andentrepreneur incubator, Amplify817, with The Fort Worth PublicLibrary."

"Little Sin and the Coulda Bins were formed after Kimberly Nye’s original song Little Sin received a nod for 2nd runner-up in the 77th Original Ozark Folk Festival Songwriter Competition (Eureka Springs, 2024). The band’s name--taken from 2 of Kim’s original songs LIttle Sin and Could Have Been Home--describes the fun and upbeat nature of their live performances. Accompanied by long-time Southwest Missouri singer-songwriters Tom Soutee and Luke Janes, one listener described their music as “folksy, fun, and a good mix of music.” Kim (lead vocals, light percussion) began writing songs several years ago, inspired by the ups and downs of life. Tom (acoustic guitar, vocals) started rocking and rolling in the live music scene at age 15, and Luke (guitars, keyboards, vocals) has been part of numerous live bands while he continues teaching music both publicly and privately. Little Sin and the Coulda Bins is a Country/Rock/Folk Trio you must not miss! "
