Sally Jo is a local, up and coming singer songwriter who we met last year at Music on the Mountain when she opened for Adorners. When her music drew tears from our staff at soundcheck, we knew we wanted to ask her back to headline. Sally Jo captured us with her sincerity and was able to make us feel every lyric in her performance. Please join us in welcoming her back for 2025.
David Loving is an independent singer-songwriter and producer based in Southeast Kansas. He has been playing acoustic guitar for more than twenty years starting with jam sessions at family gatherings. He began writing and performing his own songs soon afterward. David’s music blends influences from classic singer-songwriters such as James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, and Jackson Browne with modern performers such as The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers and Dawes.

"Tara and the Gift Horses began as a casual meetup with vocalist Tara Norwood sitting in as guest singer on a few honky-tonk tunes with friends. That fateful, laidback jam in the heart of Fayetteville, Arkansas quickly evolved into a classic country outfit whose wheelhouse contains decades of country hits & B-sides, unexpected sources of the honky-tonk spirit, and thoughtfully-crafted original songs inspired by the golden age of country music.
While striving to tap into traditional country music's uncanny ability to distill the human condition from the sour mash of achy vocals, twangy guitar, and clever lyrics, the band also tends to tailor its live show to the enduring beat of the country & western dance floor.
Whether you’re in the mood to two-step or cry, they’re your huckleberry."
