The University of Arkansas will soon spend about $900,000, $700,000 of which comes from a grant by the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council, to renovate the east entrance to Old Main. Springdale officials have plans for about $1 million worth of renovations to Murphy Park. Walton Arts Center receives a half million dollars for its own renovation project, and a former Fort Smith lawmaker is named the State Drug Director.
